The short version: make videos of music and images you have the right to use. Pro is a monthly subscription you can cancel at any time from your account. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of Heavy Rotation Pro (heavyrotationpro.com). By using the site you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@heavyrotationpro.com.
2. The service
Heavy Rotation lets you make spinning record videos and cover art from your own music and images. Everything is made in your browser on your own device. The free version includes a watermark and some limits. Pro removes the watermark and unlocks the extra features listed on the site.
While we're in beta, Pro features may be free for everyone. We'll make it clear on the site before any charge applies, and you will never be charged without signing up and paying through checkout.
3. Your content and rights
- You keep all rights to the music, images and text you use. We never receive your files.
- You must own, or have permission to use, everything you put into a video or cover, including the music. Don't use other people's songs, artwork, logos or photos without permission.
- You're responsible for the videos you make and where you post them, including following the rules of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
- Don't use Heavy Rotation for anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights.
4. Pro subscription
- Price: £7.99 a month (including any VAT that applies), or the price shown at checkout if different. Payment is taken by Stripe when you subscribe and then on the same date each month.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
- Cancelling: sign in, choose Account, and cancel. It's as easy as signing up. You keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before any price change. You can cancel before it applies.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, Pro may be paused until it's paid.
5. Your right to cancel and refunds
As a UK consumer you have 14 days from first subscribing to cancel and get a refund. Because Pro starts straight away when you ask it to, we may deduct a fair amount for the days you've already used. To cancel within 14 days, email hello@heavyrotationpro.com or cancel from Account and tell us you'd like a refund.
After 14 days, payments for the current month aren't refundable, but you can stop future payments at any time. If something isn't working as described, contact us and we'll put it right or refund you, as the law requires.
6. Availability
We work hard to keep Heavy Rotation running and up to date, but we can't promise it will always be available or work on every device and browser. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what Pro includes, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your month.
7. Our content
The Heavy Rotation name, logo, website, vinyl designs and cover art styles belong to us. You may use the videos and covers you make, including commercially, but you may not copy or resell the site or its designs as your own tool. Free videos include our watermark, which you must not remove except by upgrading to Pro.
8. Liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by content you upload or post. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Heavy Rotation and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by misusing the service or other people's content. If we close a paid account without good reason, we'll refund the unused part of your month.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email account holders about important changes before they apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out quickly.
